David Cameron proposes Chapter 11 style system in UK

Chapter 11 style creditor protection procedures could be introduced in the UK should the Conservatives win the next general election.

This is a very interesting suggestion! We already have the CVA in place with many companies at present. All that could happen is more companies would use the Chapter 11 UK version if implemented and the information would be in the public demain. More thought needs to take place on a UK version of Chapter 11. Colin Thompson Cavendish www.cavendish-mr.org.uk

I have my conceernes that this will distort the market unfairly against well run firms like mine. Why should I have to compeat against defunct companys who could not plan for the future?
