Clearly showing the management will share the pain is the way to minimise the potential damage this sort of thing has on the workforce and the business. The floor of 15,000 is also a good idea and thus the management have presented a fair'ish rescue plan, the merits of pay cuts are of course a different argument but at least this is pain across the board

How admirable, a floor of 15,000. Based on a 42.5hr week thats less than £7p/h.One less week in Tuscany or the Maldives will be tough at the top tho' !! All in it together,QUOTE JIM ROYLE,for next line.

"Morals and production will come crashing through the floor". I am not aware that a pay cut will lead to licentious and lascivious actions on behalf of the workforce \(or is this just the Unite members, all 13% of them; Mr Sibbald, I think we should be told exactly what "morals" are in jeopardy) Oh no, silly me, of course we already know, probity being top of the list. I think you mean: mo·rale   [muh-ral] noun. emotional or mental condition with respect to cheerfulness, confidence, zeal, etc., especially in the face of opposition, hardship, etc.
