Absolutely fantastic turn out today, literally hundreds and hundreds of marchers. Did you tune into the BBC News tonight and see us all singing about you ? Dolan, you scored a hat trick of own goals when you decided to do what you have just done to us, let me tell you that the support we are getting from the town AND nationwide is superb everyone recognises a charlatan, a despot, a bully when they see one,Robert Mugabe move over here comes Dolan. Finally, Dolan let me tell you that we heard something today that convinces me that your days of taking the ptss out of us and the Government are rapidly coming to an end.Sleep well

THANK YOU to everyone who turned out to support B&Ts today the town centre came to a halt shops emptied people cheered cars were sounding their horns Mr Dolan if only you had been there you would have seen a workforce that is UNITED. So when you turn on the news tonight observe and learn you will never break our spirit you have under estimated the resolve of this community

Great new website - thanks. We've all been reading these forums so much that we have 3 of the 4 most read articles on the Printweek homepage, and all 4 of the most discussed articles. There's another story on BBC news website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/somerset/7381212.stm If enough people read it, who knows, we might be able to get on the most read list on the BBC website too. All good publicity! Judith

guys have been keeping tabs on the old forum on here and that jon fennel geezer came up with sommit this is what he said copy and pasted from his last comment May be some mileage in this, do you have a copy of the proposed contract, will Unite legally advise?http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/Employees/RedundancyAndLeavingYourJob/DG_10026696 Also remember some of your guys ended up working last friday night. There may also be grounds for re course, as the company technically became insolvent on agreement with the shareholders early evening. The shift was allowed to work even though there was no intent to pay after the event. It may be that if this can be proved DTi may take action on the grounds of knowingly trading insolvently. See also http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/about/gbhtml/gbw1.shtml#five (Chapter 5, do you know if it was MVL or CVL?, looks like MVL), read the requirements which include posting of notice in 2 local papers of intent. All this may come to nothing but could help

Interesting comment here lifted from The Bookseller site - http://www.thebookseller.com/news/57764-printing-chaos-after-bt-collapse.html By Kirsten Elliott We at Akeman Press went to Butler and Tanner in March of this year for a quotation and although the price was reasonable, we were told they had so much work on that they could not start on it for six weeks - in other words, enough to keep them busy almost right through April.. How does Mr Dolan therefore explain his alleged sudden fall in potential customers at precisely this time? Not surprisingly, we went elsewhere.

Nice to see we are getting support from unions in the U.S. This has gone global. I wonder if the time will come when the other shareholders, if there are any, deem Dolan and his ego a liability and kick him to the kerb
