As I have said to Malcolm I do not think David Robinson went in with the intention of assett striping Claremont for 2 reasons firstly there was nothing left to strip Graham Sweett made sure of that prior to Administration, secondly DR genuienly wanted to make it work and couldn't bring himself almost from day 1 to admit it couldn't work. As I have made no secret of my opinion , Smith and Williamson come out of the whole transaction with no credit at all and they should have checked alot more carefully who they were selling to. A cynic would say they were only after a quick fee and I not nessessarily being a Cynic can back it up with the fact a cash offer was offered prior to the February 1st sale to Abbey Green and not even persued.
In conclusion as I have said before David Robinson wanted to make it work but his track record and involvement with Myles Bunyard meant it was a failure before it started.
