Martin Bloomfield BA MSc (Cran), Global Procurement Director Reed Business Information the UK’s leading B2B Publisher. In addition to having managed RBI UK Manufacturing, Property and Facilities budget he now operates across UK, USA and Netherlands in a Procurement role and has served on various Reed Elsevier global initiatives, the UK General Purchasing group and the RE Corporate & Social Responsibility group. He has led a number of initiatives for Reed Elsevier in the UK, across RBI divisions and Globally. With a strong belief in life long learning, in addition to being a Business Graduate he has a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University. Martin has been with RE for 28 years during which time he has served as Chairman of the UK Periodical Publishing Association’s Production and Technology Committee for 6 years where he founded and launched the UK’s largest Publishing Production Annual conference. He has spoken at conferences all over Europe, but gave up public speaking in Y2K in favour of working for a living!
